On Monday, October 23, the City of Trinity and the prisoner work program came together to work on Chamber of Commerce Building.
The front porch was added to the building. The original porch was removed so that the building could be moved and much of the material needed to be replaced. Through a donation from the Trinity Economical Corporation the new materials were bought, and the building moved. The electricity is now connected and Monday the plumbing and water were installed.
The building still needs new roof and siding, and there are limited funds still available from the donation from Trinity Economical Corporation to complete the project. However, there are still expenses that the community could help with. Contact the Chamber of Commerce if you would like to donate to help with this project. The chamber of Commerce contributes much to the community and is an asset for a growing and active city like Trinity.
